Introducing The Zine Project

Crafting an image is easy, but getting that image accepted and seen as "you" is hard. I've been thinking about how I want to deal with this dilemma. Those who know me could say I'm a bit loud or eccentric (hopefully not in a bad way), and so the way I'd want to reach out to people should be equally eccentric. This thought inspired the Zine Project.

Zines are pretty easy to make- you get a piece of paper, fold it, cut it, and fold it again. Once you do this, you get a front, a back, and 6 pages of content. You can also make it 10 pages with a few more cuts (albeit the integrity of the zine will be questionable).

As a university student, I'm fortunate to have access to our library, coffee shop, computer labs, and other student amenities. I'm going to take advantage of this and use these spots to share my art. I'll be designing three zine designs and printing out 10-15 of each, then distributing them in places where students or young adults may notice.

I look forward to sharing my work with strangers (even if it doesn't lead to traction)! I will keep ya'll updated
